Distorted history
To the editor:
Cal Thomas has given a prime example of how he distorts history to make his point. He claims that if our lost battles in World War II had been reported the way things are reported in Iraq the American people would have demanded we give in to Hitler! What a gross misunderstanding of the mood in this country in 1945! We wouldn’t have given in if he had tanks on the Missouri!
