Dorothy Kurtz, clinical coordinator for skilled nursing, rehabilitation and palliative care at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, recently attended a three-day course on end-of-life care in Kansas City, Mo.

The program, “End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium,” was developed by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and the City of Hope Cancer Center and was for nurses who conduct continuing education courses for other health care providers.
