Minot, N.D., will be the Lawrence Raiders’ first-round foe in the American Legion Central Plains Regional Thursday in Aberdeen, S.D.

Minot captured the North Dakota Legion title Sunday with a 7-2 victory over Williston. Minot (53-11) and the Raiders (32-6) will collide at 12:30 p.m. in the four-day double-elimination tournament.

The Raiders haven’t played since wrapping up their fourth straight Kansas Legion championship eight days ago with a 13-6 triumph over Emporia.
