University Bridge Club announces the winners of its April 22 game. Hosts were Roy and Wilma Cropp and George and Aileen Bocquin.

Blue winners were Paul Jordan, first; Alice Akin, second; Tom Waller, third; Bebe Huxtable, fourth; and Al Smith, fifth.

Pink winners were Florence McNicoll, first; Jane Golden, second; Wanda Kring, third; Mary Jo Spotts, fourth; and Jo Ann Hicks, fifth.

The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six and a half tables on April 19. The game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Playing North-South, Julia Brooks and Wanda Durbin won first in A, followed by Mona Bell and Chris Lane who won second. Shirley Reese and Shirlie Vaughn won third in A and first in B. Virginia Eddy and Phyllis Brownlee won second in B.

At East-West, Eldon Herd and Lois Clark won first in A. Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won second in A, and Bebe Huxtable and Wanna Roszel won first in B and C and third in A. Bobbie McCorkle and Virginia Johnston won second in B and C.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club’s game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Eleven tables played a stratified Mitchell movement. Playing North-South, James Zhang and Harry Shaffer won first in A. Chris Lane and Shirley Reese won second in A and Jeff Nash and Marilyn Steward won third. Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee won first in B, followed by Emily Foster and Sam Pierron who won second in B and first in C.

Paul Heitzman and Donna Johnson won first in A playing East-West. Sally Taylor and Shirlie Vaughn won second in A, and Pete Petillo and Dave Piro won third. Mike and Cathy Blumenfeld won first in B and C, and Grant Sutton and Ann Thompson won second in B and C.
