KU women’s lacrosse wins pair at Plains

? Kansas University’s women’s lacrosse club squad split two matches Saturday at the Central Plains women’s league championships at Lindenwood University.

KU lost its opener to Lindenwood, 12-5. Lisa Allen scored three goals for the KU club.

In the third-place match, the KU club routed Truman State, 11-4. Allen scored four goals for the Jayhawks.

KU was 9-3 in the spring season and 18-5 for the year.

Indy CC signs Reschke

Lawrence High senior Cameron Reschke has signed a football letter of intent with Independence Community College. Reschke is a 5-foot-8, 180-pound lineman.
