Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures retreated Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mostly lower. Wheat for May delivery fell 1/4 cent to $3.54 3/4 a bushel; May corn fell 3/4 cent to $2.38 1/2 a bushel; May oats remained unchanged at $1.71 1/2 a bushel; May soybeans fell 1 1/2 cent to $5.74 a bushel. Beef and pork futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle rose .75 cent to 76.27 cents a pound; May feeder cattle rose .60 cent to $1.047 a pound; May lean hogs rose .85 cent to 64.50 cents a pound; May pork bellies rose .10 cent to 77.50 cents a pound.
