Indians rap 20 hits in 15-1 romp

? Jason Johnson took a five-hitter into the eighth inning, Victor Martinez and Grady Sizemore homered, and the Cleveland Indians had 20 hits Tuesday night in a 15-1 rout of the Baltimore Orioles.

Sizemore had three hits, Martinez went 3-for-6 to extend his hitting streak to 13 games, and Casey Blake went 3-for-4 to raise his batting average to .447. Ben Broussard entered as a pinch hitter in the fifth inning and went 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Seattle – Felix Hernandez allowed early two-run home runs to Phil Nevin and Brad Wilkerson, pitching five spotty innings in Seattle’s loss to Texas.

Red Sox 7, Devil Rays 4

Boston – Kevin Youkilis hit a tiebreaking two-run double in the eighth inning, and Manny Ramirez took another step out of his deep slump with three RBIs.

Athletics 4, Tigers 3

Oakland, Calif. – Nick Swisher hit a tiebreaking solo homer in the seventh. Swisher also had a two-run homer.

Angels 8, Twins 2

Minneapolis – Kelvim Escobar struck out 10 in 62â3 innings, and Chone Figgins had a home run and two RBIs. Escobar (2-1) scattered seven hits.

Blue Jays 10, Yankees 5

Toronto – Randy Johnson failed to hold a four-run lead and was chased in the fourth inning. Troy Glaus homered twice.
