Quilt lovers can learn how to take the best care of their quilts during a workshop Saturday morning at the Watkins Community Museum of History, 1047 Mass.

Curator Kerry Lippincott will share techniques and methods on how to preserve quilts. Participants are encouraged to bring a quilt for consultation.

The workshop is from 10 a.m. to noon and costs $15.

It is the second in the series of Caring for your Collections, which the museum is putting on this year.

Discounts are available for attending three or more of the classes.
