Art Guild offering session on creativity

Encouraging the creative process will be the topic of the next Lawrence Art Guild meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Marybeth Bethel’s presentation will focus on the ebb and flow of the creative process. From her research on creativity and human potential, Bethel has devised strategies to work through creative blocks and encourage creative flow. Bethel is a personal coach, psychotherapist and teacher with a private practice in Lawrence. Her own creative experience includes writing, performing and recording music, publishing numerous essays and poems, and creating glass mosaics.

The meeting runs until 9 p.m. at the Lawrence Public Library auditorium, 707 Vt.
