The Douglas County Family and Community Education Council will sponsor its annual spring tea at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Building 21 North at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The program will be a “Balloon Extravaganza” by Will Channon. Genevieve Busby will provide musical entertainment.

Vinland Family and Community Education Council will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Vinland Methodist Church.

Hostess will be Mary Lou Brown. Kayelen Hess will give the lesson “Sense to Save Dollars: Energy Conservation.”
