“Retro Saturday at Stout’s,” an event for a guest bartender and disc jockey to raise money for selected charities, is set for April 22.

Justin Anderson, a Lawrence dentist, will play music and donate his tips to The Salvation Army. Jodi Dineen, Lawrence, will serve as a bartender and donate her tips to Kelly’s Cure, formed on behalf of Kelly Hale, co-owner of Statements Hair Salon; Hale died March 29, and money raised will go toward paying her remaining medical bills and for donations for lung cancer research.

The event begins at 8 p.m. at JB Stout’s, 721 Wakarusa Drive.
