Law enforcement report

¢ An additional $6,990 in audio-visual equipment has been reported stolen from the Kansas University campus, bringing the total of items stolen from campus during spring break to roughly $22,000. The items most recently reported stolen were two Sharp brand data projectors taken from Summerfield Hall that weren’t reported missing until Friday.

¢ Kansas University police took a report from a woman who said she was raped by an acquaintance early on the morning of May 9 at Jayhawker Towers, but the woman later told officers she didn’t want to press charges.

¢ Lawrence Police seized three baggies of suspected cocaine early Wednesday morning in a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Bainbridge Circle. They arrested a 26-year-old Lawrence man for possession with intent to sell cocaine.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A Lawrence man told police he had roughly $2,000 worth of stereo equipment stolen from his car between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of West 27th Street. At least two other cars were burglarized in the same area.

¢ Someone broke into the Daryl Graves law office, 203 Lyon St., and stole items including memory sticks, a safe with a combination lock, computer disks and a deposit book. The theft happened between 5:45 p.m. Friday and 9:20 a.m. Saturday.
