¢ Roberts Tourney Champ: Conrad Roberts shot a one-under-par 71 and won Sunday’s Jayhawk Golf Club Tournament at Alvamar by three strokes over Chad Roesler. Rob Werling shot 76, Van Reichert 78 and John Catlin 80. In net scoring, Keith Wallace was low with a 68 followed by Brian Tuttle 71 and Richard Brown and Chris Anderson, each with 73.

¢ Ikenberry Hole-in-One: Ken Ikenberry used a six-iron to ace the par-three, 168-yard No. 15 hole Monday at Alvamar Golf Course. John Kleinholz was the witness.

¢ Junior Golf: May 24 is the deadline for youths to enter the Kansas Optimist Junior Golf Championship June 15 in Salina. Qualifying tourneys are scheduled June 5 in Topeka and June 6 in Olathe. Entry forms are available at city courses.
¢ Orchards Scramble: Orchards Golf Course will hold an 18-hole two-person scramble May 13. Participants will be flighted by scores. Prizes include a season pass for any team that records a hole-in-one. For information, call Ed White at 843-7456.
¢ Eagle Bend ace: Pat O’Toole shot a hole-in-one on the 207-yard eighth hole Tuesday at Eagle Bend. O’Toole used a 3-wood. Don Nunley, Terry Keefer and Tom Pollard witnessed the shot.
¢ Golf openings: Eagle Bend men’s golf league has openings. Play will be 5:30 p.m. Tuesday with shotgun starts the first six weeks. Call Eagle Bend at 748-0600 for information. The senior men’s (8 a.m. Mondays) and the women’s league (9 a.m. Wednesdays) also have openings.
