A Lawrence daycare center has been suspended by the state, accused of “frightening and physically harmful” punishment of a child in its care.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued an emergency order of suspension against Love-N-Home Care, resulting from a reported incident April 7. The daycare is located at 1801 Random Road.
