Kansas University’s debate team has finished second overall in the Cross Examination Debate Assn. national rankings, based on the number of wins during the 2005-06 season.

The KU team finished second behind Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. At the association’s national championship tournament in Dallas, two of four KU debate teams reached the Sweet 16 rounds.
