University Bridge Club announces the winners of its March 25 game. Hosts were Carl and Isabelle Schaake, Mary Jo Spotts and Willie Stoltenberg.

Blue winners were Paul Jordan, first; Willie Stoltenberg, second; Virginia Williams, third; Dale Kring, fourth; and Walt Hicks, fifth.

Pink winners were Lois Liebert, first; Wanda Kring, second; Gladys Dight, third; Alice Akin, fourth; and Myrna Ikenberry, fifth.

The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played five and a half tables in a stratified Howell movement on March 22. The game was directed by Don Brennaman. Helen and Bob Huffman won first in A, B and C, and Emily Foster and Charlie Vaughn won second in A. John and Shirley Reese placed second in B and third in A. Don Daugherty and Harry Talley won third in B and second in C.

The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s March 24 game was directed by Don Brennaman. Twelve tables played a stratified Mitchell movement. At North-South, Yvonne Hedges and Shirley Reese won first in A, followed by Klee Zaricky and Sally Taylor who placed second. Patt Radford and Betty Collier were third in A. John Reese and Chuck Hedges won first in B, and Ginny Johnston and Barbara McCorkle won first in C and second in B.

Playing East-West, Mona Bell and Madelyn Jenks won first in A and B. Addie Nyquist and Ed Howard won second in A, and Grant Sutton and Janice Hollowell won first in C, second in B and third in A. Mike and Cathy Blumenfeld won third in B, and Ann Thompson and Carol Ball won second in C.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club’s March 27 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Eleven and a half tables played a stratified Mitchell movement. John Hickey and James Kelley won first in A at North-South. Charlie Vaughn and Shari Krentzel won second, and Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough won third. Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee won first in B, and Mike Lee and Pat Musick won first in C and second in B.

Ed Howard and Don Bush led the East-West pairs by winning first in A. Julia Brooks and Lester Dalton won second in A, and Bill and Barbara Hamilton were third in A and first in B and C. Ann Thompson and Grant Sutton won second in B and C, followed by Dorothy Netson and Barbara Merriam who won third in B and C.
