Transit workshop to offer tips on using T
Area residents will have a chance to learn how to better use public transportation in Lawrence at a special event.
The Lawrence Transit System will offer a workshop from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt. The event will provide tips on how to best use the T, the city’s public bus system.
The workshop is free and open to the public. Organizers are asking participants to complete an application by Tuesday. Applications are available online at www.lawrencetransit.org. People also can call the transit office at 832-3465 for more information.
