Humane Society to hold benefit auction on Friday
The Lawrence Humane Society will host its 11th Pawsible Dream Benefit Auction at 6 p.m. Friday at the Lawrence Holidome, 200 McDonald Drive.
The event will include a silent auction at 6 p.m., a live auction at 7:30 p.m., and food, a cash bar and entertainment. Tickets are $25 or two for $40.
All proceeds will benefit the Lawrence Humane Society, which provides food, shelter, medication, vaccination and veterinary care to hundreds of animals. Auctioned items will include Kansas University football and basketball tickets, 50-yard line box seats for the Kansas City Chiefs game on Jan. 1, 2006 and artwork from area artists.
Tickets for the benefit can be purchased from the Lawrence Humane Society or at the door of the event.
