Sex assault prevention center to receive grant
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and Roderick Bremby, Kansas Secretary of Health and Environment, announced Thursday a Lawrence sexual assault prevention center will receive a $54,193 federal grant.
The GaDuGi Safe Center, 2518 Ridge Court No. 2, was one of seven Kansas sexual assault prevention centers to receive the Federal Rape Prevention Education grants that are funded by the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
