The Corps of Engineers at Clinton Lake will hold its second annual special hunt Nov. 1-30 at Bloomington Park.

The archery-only event will allow hunters to be drawn from a pool of applicants to hunt at an assigned area. Hunters are required to carry a special-hunt permit issued by the Corps and follow all Kansas statutes.

Normally, hunting is not permitted in park areas at Clinton Lake.

In response to suggestions from last year’s hunters, the Corps will permit a hunter to select a co-participant. Another change is the addition of two hunt zones within Rockhaven Park.
