One Hundred Good Women has been awarded two grants from the Kansas Arts Commission to support their collaboration with The F.A.N. Club, a Lawrence women artists support group, for “Convergence 2005: An International Art Exhibition and Community Event.”

The technical assistance grant and the grass-roots art grant will help fund the various workshops, presentations and art exhibitions planned for “Convergence 2005,” which is the second half of an international art exchange with nine female Canadian artists.

Work by the nine Canadian artists and the nine F.A.N. Club artists will be shown Oct. 17-Nov. 30 at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H.
