Soybean futures increased Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mixed. Wheat for December delivery rose 4 cents to $3.25 1/4 a bushel; December corn fell 1/4 cent to $2.06 1/2 a bushel; December oats rose 1 3/4 cent to $1.59 a bushel; November soybeans rose 5 3/4 cents to $5.77 3/4 a bushel.

Beef futures retreated on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures finished mixed. October live cattle fell .17 cent to 85.65 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell .37 cent to $1.1257 a pound; October lean hogs fell .90 cent to 64.87 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose .50 cent to 83.35 cents a pound.
