¢ Tuttle-Reichert Champs: Brian Tuttle and Van Reichert combined to shoot a 143 and win Saturday’s Jayhawk Golf Club two-man net blind-draw tournament at Alvamar. Tuttle carded 68 and Reichert 75. Runners-up were Gavin Gilchrist (72) and Steve Crawford (72) at 144. Two duos shared third place with 147s – Curt Anderson (73) and Don Schulenberg (74), and Pete Whitenight (71) and Rob Werling (76).
¢ Hole-in-One: Daniel Ellis of Louisville, Ky., used a 6-iron to ace the 182-yard No. 4 hole at Alvamar Golf Course during last month’s BNSF Tournament. Witnesses were Tom Poor, Jeremy Hammett and Michael Mills.
¢ LHS Spirit Clinic: Lawrence High’s Little Lion Spirit Clinic will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the LHS East Gym. The $30 cost includes a T-shirt and pom pons. Walk-ins are welcome. For information, call Gwen Wedd at 832-5450.

¢ Boeck Double Winner: Dee Boeck of Lawrence earned age-group titles at the Leawood Labor Day 5K and at the Helen Golf 5K in Overland Park. In the Labor Day event, Paul Heitzman of Eudora also earned age-group gold. In the Gold 5K, Lawrence’s Fran Breslauer won her age division, as did Wally Brawner of Tonganoxie.
¢ Sandrat Run: Entries are being accepted for the Sandrat Trail Run Oct. 2. It’s a 9.5-mile race on the Kansas River trails. The start/finish is near the Ballard Center in North Lawrence. For information, call Steve Riley at 842-4351 or e-mail srmriley@sunflower.com.
