Auditions for community dancers and actors ages 5 and older will be Sunday for the 2005 production of “A Kansas Nutcracker.”

The Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H., has scheduled auditions by age group: 1 p.m.-2 p.m. for ages 5-6, 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. for ages 7-11 and 3 p.m.-5 p.m. for ages 11-18. Adults may audition at any of those times.

Rehearsals will begin in October for dance and November for drama. The performances will be Dec. 9-11 and Dec. 16-18.
