Topeka ? Glen Sears, a 2003 Kansas University graduate, will be working as U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore’s executive assistant and office manager in Washington, D.C.

Sears, who received degrees in political science and economics from KU, had been a staff assistant in Moore’s Overland Park office.

“I am grateful that Glen has accepted this new responsibility and will continue his service to the people of Kansas,” said Moore, a Democrat whose district includes the eastern half of Lawrence.

Sears will be responsible for scheduling meetings between Moore and Kansans in Washington.
