¢ Reichert Low: Van Reichert shot a par 72 and won the Jayhawk Golf Club weekly tournament Sunday at Alvamar. Scot Tenpenny shot 75, while Richard High and Tom Dennis carded 78s. In net scoring, Randy Gebhards was low with the 68, followed by Steve Crawford 70 and Jay Patterson 72.

¢ Women’s Golf: Early entry deadline is Monday for the Lawrence Amateur Golf Assn. Women’s City Open Sept. 17 at Eagle Bend GC. Anyone who lives or works in Douglas County or is a member of Alvamar or Lawrence country clubs is eligible. For information, call 832-9009.
