Topeka ? Trent Hearn rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns Saturday, helping Washburn beat Missouri Southern, 49-35, to remain undefeated in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Assn. play.

Hearn scored on touchdown runs of three and 24 yards to give the Ichabods (9-1 overall, 7-0 MIAA) an early 14-0 lead.

Washburn’s defense kept Missouri Southern (3-6, 2-5) scoreless in the first half, and Rawshawn Bland’s three-yard touchdown run gave the Ichabods a 35-0 lead at halftime.
