Bush responsible

To the editor:

Now that one high-ranking member of the Bush administration has been indicted, and more indictments may follow, I will reserve judgment regarding their potential guilt or innocence and only wonder about how deep the involvement of others may go.

But with the variety of charges possible and with so many indictments looming there really are only two possibilities: Either Bush was kept out of the loop or he was complicit.

If he’s involved, he should be impeached. If he’s not involved, he’s still responsible because he chose his staff. Or did they choose him?

Whichever manner of lies, leaks or conspiracy has occurred, the charges are rather serious if examined separately. Considering that it all goes back to the justification for war, it becomes the original crime scene of a manufactured tragedy of epic proportions.

Empty suit or orange jumpsuit? Neither is White House material, no matter how you look at it.
