Wal-Mart to cut health care costs
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. announced more affordable health care for some of its workers Monday in the latest shot in a battle with critics for the hearts of consumers.
Wal-Mart is launching a plan to lower health insurance premiums, allowing some associates to buy coverage next year for as little as $11 per month. The Bentonville, Ark.-based company has 1.2 million domestic employees.
