Eudora sends girls team, three boys to state
Hiawatha ? Eudora High will send its girls cross country team and three boys runners to the state meet. Brittney Graff and Megan Ballock finished 1-2, and the Cardinals’ girls won their Class 4A regional Saturday. Boys runners Cody Burns, Tim DeArmond and Joey Chino also qualified for state Saturday at Wamego.
Graff won in 12:02, followed by Ballock in 12:16.
Eudora won the team race with 35 points, followed by
De Soto (49), Tonganoxie (118) and Perry-Lecompton 148.
For the Eudora boys, Burns finished third in 17:14, DeArmond seventh in 17:36 and Chino ninth in 17:42.
De Soto won the team race with 42 points, and Tonganoxie tied for second with 93 points. Eudora had 97 points.
