Reconsideration urged for Kasold Drive repairs

City Commissioner Mike Rundle wants to reopen a debate on how to rebuild a portion of Kasold Drive between 22nd Street and Bob Billings Parkway.

Commissioners last month struggled with several design issues related to the reconstruction, including the placement of a controversial sidewalk/bike path and the height of a retaining wall that neighbors have complained about.

At Tuesday’s city commission meeting, Rundle said he wanted to reconsider the decisions that commissioners made about the project last month. He didn’t go into detail about what changes he may lobby for, but said he would like the item back on the agenda in two weeks.
