Lawrence Relay for Life will begin its 2006 campaign with a party from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Victorian Veranda Inn at Free State Farm, 1431 North 1900 Road.

The event coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event will include an informational meeting, cookout, square-dancing performance, hay wagon rides, two-step dancing and a marshmallow roast.

The event is for Relay for Life team captains, participants, cancer survivors and corporate sponsors.
