Baker announces visit from a cappella quintet

Amarcord, a male a cappella quintet from Germany, will perform Oct. 23 as part of Baker University’s Artist and Lecture Series.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Eighth and Grove streets.

Holger Krause (bass), Frank Ozimek (baritone), Daniel Knauft (bass), Wolfram Lattke (tenor), Dietrich Barth (tenor) form Amarcord, which focuses on music from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, as well as collaborations with contemporary composers.

Admission to the Artist and Lecture Series event is $20 for adults and $15 for youths. Tickets are available at the Baker University business office, Baldwin State Bank, Mid-America Bank and Kansas State Bank in Baldwin.
