‘Phone-a-thon’ looks to dial up donations
United Way volunteers will be conducting a “phone-a-thon” today to raise money from local small businesses for local social service agencies.
A team of volunteers will personally visit small businesses between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today. Small businesses that give $200 or more will be able to announce their gifts by phone during a live broadcast on KLWN.
