The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club’s Sept. 28 game was played by seven and a half tables and directed by Virginia Seaver.

In a stratified Mitchell movement, Eldon and Glenna Herd won first place in A playing North-South. Chris Lane and Carol Ball won second in A and Mona Bell and Chuck Hedges were third. Florine Creek and Frances Vogel won first in B.

Shirley Reese and Shirlie Vaughn won first in A at East-West. Dave Piro and Paul Heitzman won second and Sally Davis and Julia Brooks were third. Cathy Blumenfeld and Lois Clark won first in B.

Ed Howard and Bill Hamilton won first in A at North-South, followed by Jeremy Martin and Grant Sutton, who won second in A and first in B. Bob Anderson and Betty Spalsbury were third in A, second in B and first in C. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won second in C.

At East-West, Emily Foster and Albert Ballard won first in A, B and C. Bobby and Elle Patton were second in A, B and C, and Helen and Bob Huffman won third in A and B.

¢ The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s Sept. 30 game was comprised of eight tables and directed by Don Brennaman in a stratified Mitchell movement. The North-South pairs were led by Kent McCullough and Chuck Hedges, who won first in A. Shirlie Vaughn and Sally Taylor won second in A and Don Brennaman and Judy Hildreth won third. Janice Hollowell and Gladys Rivard finished first in B and C.

Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell won first in A and B playing East-West. Gary and Mary Joyce were first in C and second in A and B, followed by Shirley Reese and Carol Ball, who won third in A and B. Bebe Huxtable and Wanna Roszel won second in C.

¢ The Sunday Afternoon Bridge Club played seven tables in a stratified Mitchell game directed by Jerry Sloan.

Jim Mullins and Lois Jones won first in A among the North-South pairs. John and Shirley Reese won second in A and first in B, and Vernon Gregg and Marilyn Stewart won third in A. Harriet Olson and Barbara Figgins won first in C.

Jim Stewart and Jeff Nash led the East-West pairs, winning first in A and B. Larry Brock and Barbara Merriam won second in A and B and first in C. Judy Hildreth and Polly Schoning won third in A and Mike Lee and Betty Spalsbury won third in B and second in C.

¢ The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at 10 and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver.

Lois Jones and Jeff Nash won the North-South pairs by placing first in A. Kent McCullough and Larry Bodle were second in A and Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee were third in A and first in B. Barbara Merriam and Dorothy Netson were first in C and second in B.

Donna Johnson and Paul Heitzman won first in A at East-West, followed by John Hickey and Jim Kelley. Virginia Seaver and Jim Mullins won third in A. Judy Bevan and Emily Foster won first in B and C, followed by Ann Thompson and Grant Sutton who won second in B and C.
