Kansas soccer to play host to OSU, Oklahoma

Kansas University’s soccer team will play host to the resurgent Oklahoma schools this weekend.

KU will tangle with Oklahoma State at 4 p.m. today and with Oklahoma at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Both matches will be at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex.

The Jayhawks are 1-2-1 in conference play and have a 5-5-2 overall record. All five victories have been by shutouts. Conversely, KU has surrendered three goals in each of its five defeats.

O-State comes in with a 9-1-2 overall record and 2-1-0 in the Big 12.

Oklahoma (11-1, 3-0) is the only team without a conference defeat.

Tapped for eighth place in the league preseason coaches poll, the Sooners’ lone loss this season has been to Wisconsin.
