Satirist, security officer to speak at Dole Institute

A political satirist and a national security officer will be speakers this week at Kansas University’s Dole Institute of Politics.

Bill Nolte, a career National Security Agency officer and currently chancellor of the National Intelligence University, will appear at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. He will talk about “National Intelligence and Homeland Security: What’s new, What’s Changing.”

Walter Shapiro, longtime political newspaper writer and former USA Today columnist, will be a guest speaker in the Karen McCarthy study group. He will speak at 4 p.m. Thursday.
