Baldwin — Off to its worst start in three decades, Baker University's football team will try to stop the bleeding in its homecoming game today against Central Methodist.
Kickoff will be at 2 p.m. at Liston Stadium.
The Wildcats (0-4) are coming off a heartbreaking 37-36 loss Saturday to Evangel in Springfield, Mo. It was Baker's eighth straight defeat.
Baker hasn't won since a 19-15 decision over Culver-Stockton in Week 6 of the 2004 season.
The 0-4 start is the Wildcats' worst since 1975.
Baker leads the Heart of America Athletic Conference in passing, but the Wildcats are last in the league in scoring defense, total defense, rushing offense and turnover margin.
Baker has had 18 giveaways (nine fumbles, nine interceptions), but managed only five takeaways (four fumbles, one interception).
