Members of Boy Scout Troop 64, chartered to the Eudora Lions Club, attended a Black Powder Campout on Nov. 18-19 near Overbrook. Scouts fired black powder muskets, and practiced tomahawk and knife throwing. Some of the Scouts completed requirements for the Rifle Shooting Merit Badge. The campsite was on the grounds of the First Santa Fe Trail Plainsmen Muzzleloading Club. Paul Walker and John Scott helped transport the Scouts and their leaders to the site and back.
