Forum to discuss flu-related topics
State health officials will conduct a forum Thursday to discuss influenza, including pandemic influenza, avian flu and the Kansas preparedness plan.
The forum will be at 7 p.m. at the Douglas County Health Department, 200 Maine.
Drs. Howard Rodenbergy, who is director of the health division of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, and Gail Hansen, state epidemiologist, will discuss what to expect if avian flu appears and ways to limit the spread.
