Weatherization kits for homes available

An area organization will offer kits to help Kansans keep their homes warm and save energy during the winter.

East Central Kansas Economic Opportunity Corp. is now accepting applications for Kansas Warm Homes Conservation Kits. Because of the small number of kits, they will be given to those who apply first and meet household income guidelines.

Items in the kits include caulking, a self-adhesive door sweep, weather stripping and plastic sheets for windows.
