More than two dozen Kansas residents have formed the state’s first chapter of Quail Forever.

The new chapter, called the Heartland Pioneer Chapter of QF, will be led by Rice County residents Jack Mull, Doug Keesling, Ron Klein and Bob Peel.

The group’s next meeting will be Dec. 12 near Hutchinson.
