Miami Shaquille O'Neal broke his silence Friday, talking about the right ankle injury that has kept him out for two weeks.
While the center still doesn't know when he will return, he did say the progress was coming along well and clarified any speculation that he had done damage to anything other than his ankle.
"They team doctors told me don't worry about it, let's just get it 90 to 100 percent," O'Neal said."
O'Neal said the swelling had gone down significantly in the past two weeks and the pain had subsided.
"It has come a long way," O'Neal said. "I had the cast on and I couldn't walk. Now I've got shoes on, the swelling is going down, we're doing two treatments a day."
