Venturing Crew 2052, chartered to St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church of Lawrence, completed the Camp Theodore Naish Scout Reservation’s Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience (COPE) program Nov. 12-13. The program consists of: initiative games, low-course events and high-course events. At each level, the participants work though a series of challenges to achieve success on both an individual and a team basis.

Crew members who participated were: Christy Howard, Kathy Lewis, Liz Ridenour, Clarissa Wagner and JoAnna Male. Cathy Howard and Barbara Pressgrove, adult leaders, accompanied them.

The Crew will be having a special Scout visitation at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church. The visitation is open to all young women ages 13 to 21 who might be interested in fun and high adventure. For more information, contact Ralena McCurdy at 542-3050.
