Chicago Board of Trade

Grain futures edged mostly higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while soybean futures declined. Wheat for December delivery rose 1/4 cent to $3.11 3/4 a bushel; December corn rose 1 1/4 cent to $1.96 3/4 a bushel; December oats fell 1 cent to $1.66 3/4 a bushel; January soybeans fell 6 1/2 cents to $5.95 a bushel. Beef futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures retreated. December live cattle rose .65 cent to 91.07 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose .75 cent to $1.1372 a pound; December lean hogs fell .08 cent to 63.35 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.52 cent to 86.72 cents a pound.
