Broken Arrow, Okla. ? Samantha Pete scored 19 of her 24 points in the first half as Haskell Indian Nations University chalked up a 79-66 women’s basketball victory over Rose State College on Saturday at the Rhema Bible Classic.

Haskell led, 51-33, at halftime in rolling to its second victory at the two-day event.

Pete hit nine of 17 shots, including six of 10 threes. Also, Maria Stevens scored 13, while Kortney Smith and Margaret Stevens had 11 apiece for Haskell (2-2).
