Lawrence school district food service workers are hosting a shopping bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in the commons area at Free State High School, featuring 40 home-based businesses.

Participants include Avon, Mary Kay, Longaberger baskets, Pampered Chef and Tupperware.

Proceeds from the event at 4700 Overland Drive will be used to underwrite food service workers’ training and attendance at state and regional conferences.
