Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean futures advanced Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 1 3/4 cent to $3.11 1/2 a bushel; December corn rose 1 3/4 cent to $1.95 1/2 a bushel; December oats rose 3/4 cent to $1.67 3/4 a bushel; January soybeans rose 14 cents to $6.01 1/2 a bushel.

Beef futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures finished mixed.

December live cattle fell 1.55 cent to 90.42 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell .77 cent to $1.1297 a pound; December lean hogs rose .30 cent to 63.42 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.45 cent to 88.25 cents a pound.
