University Bridge Club announces the winners of its Nov. 5 game. Hosts were Ed and Hazel Stellmacher, Willie Stoltenberg, Ruth Harwood and Mary Jo Spotts.

Blue winners were: Dale Kring, first; John Golden, second; Harold Riehm, third; Virginia Williams, fourth; and Carl Schaake, fifth.

Pink winners were: Jane Golden, first; Wanda Kring, second; Gladys Dight, third; Hazel Stellmacher, fourth; and Willie Stoltenberg, fifth.

¢ The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at seven tables directed by Virginia Seaver on Nov. 2. Klee Zaricky and Betty Collier won first in A playing North-South, followed by Yvonne Hedges and Sally Taylor in second. Phyllis Brownlee and Sally Davis were third. Linda Heavin and Harriet Olson won first in B.

The East-West teams were led by Virginia Johnston and Marge Hitchcock, who won first in A and B. Bebe Huxtable and Clarice Broz won second in A and B, and Nita Scales and Carol Ball won third in both strata.

¢ The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six tables directed by Don Brennaman on Nov. 2. Bill and Barbara Hamilton led the North-South pairs, placing first in A and B. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty were second in A and B, and John Gilbert and Judy Bevan won third.

At East-West, Virginia Seaver and Mary Beth Treece won first in A. Addie Nyquist and Jeane Landry won second in A, and Steve Rego and Albert Ballard won third in A and first in B. Jolene Anderson and Russell LaForce won second in B.

¢ The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club was directed by Don Brennaman. Eleven tables played a stratified Mitchell movement. At North-South, Judy and Jay Hildreth, Wamego, won first in A, followed by Kent McCullough and Chuck Hedges, who were second in A. Sally Taylor and Virginia Seaver won third in A. Don Brennaman and Bob Daily won first in B, followed by Chris Lane and Klee Zaricky, who were second in B. Betty Spalsbury and Bob Anderson won first in C.

Ed Howard and Jeane Landry led the East-West pairs by winning first in A. Paul Heitzman and David Piro won second, and Jean Otney and Wanda Durbin were third in A. Lois Clark and Cathy Blumenfeld won first in B and C. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won second in B and C. Rob Seaver and Shirlie Vaughn won third in B.

¢ The Sunday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Howell movement at four and a half tables directed by Jerry Sloan. Mary Fenlon and Jeane Landry won first in A. Dorothy Netson and Jeff Nash, Topeka, won first in B and second in A. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough won third in A and second in B. Bill and Barbara Hamilton won first in C and third in B. Shari Krentzel and Virginia Hamilton won second in C.

¢ The Monday Evening Bridge Club played host to a STaC game, in which players can win silver points at the club level. The group played a stratified Mitchell movement at 13 and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver. Playing North-South, Barbara and Bill Hamilton won first in A, B and C. Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges won second in A and B, followed by Gary Joyce and Mary Beth Treece, who won third in A and second in B and C.

At East-West, James Masilamani and Jeff Nash, Topeka, won first in A. Ed Howard and Lynn Hui won second in A, followed by Paul Heitzman and Donna Johnson who won first in B and third in A. Steve Day and Jim Kelley, Shawnee Mission, won first in C and second in B. Mike and Cathy Blumenfeld won second in C.
