Soybean futures advanced Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mostly higher. Wheat for December delivery rose 2 cents to $3.15 a bushel; December corn remained unchanged at $1.95 1/4 a bushel; December oats fell 1/4 cent to $1.65 3/4 a bushel, and January soybeans rose 3 cents to $5.88 1/2 a bushel.

Pork futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while beef futures finished mixed. December live cattle rose .22 cent to 91.95 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell .40 cent to $1.1425 a pound; December lean hogs rose .95 cent to 64.17 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.57 cent to 92.70 cents a pound.
